We have updated our Clean Energy Future website to share new questions and answers about natural gas and the Alton Natural Gas Storage Project.
The new questions were asked by members of the public and submitted to the site since its launch in May. We’ll be sharing new questions and answers on the site for the benefit of others to see.
At Alton, we are building underground natural gas storage caverns near Stewiacke to help provide Nova Scotians with affordable, reliable natural gas year round. Natural gas and natural gas storage have an important role to play in Nova Scotia’s energyfuture. Salt caverns for natural gas storage are a proven and safe system for storing natural gas.
Alton creates significant benefits for the province including jobs, tax revenues and reliable natural gas supply.
